Laura Kyle

Laura Kyle has worked for Al Jazeera English for 14 years. She studied postgraduate journalism at City University before moving to Beijing where she worked as a sub editor for China Daily newspaper, a host for China Radio and presenter/reporter for China Central Television. After three years there, she moved to Kuala Lumpur to join Al Jazeera English as a producer. She helped launch the channel in 2006 and put its first ever bulletin to air. At Al Jazeera, Laura has since worked as a news presenter and correspondent reporting from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand. She moved to Doha in 2010, just before the Arab Spring and covered many major global news events as a principal presenter. She also hosts programmes Inside Story and Rewind.
