Writing for TV
A lot of people who watch television don’t actually “watch” television. They might be doing something else while the TV is on. So what we say is as important as what we see.
“This is a family of six children. They are facing food shortages due to prolonged drought and crop failure.”
“Hafiz Bissad has a wife and six children. They haven’t eaten today. They didn’t eat yesterday. They probably won’t eat tomorrow.”
