The courses on the Al Jazeera E-learning platform are self-paced. This means you take the course in your own time, according to your own schedule.
Each course consists of a series of video and text lessons. You will be required to take a test after each lesson. As long as you score at least 80% on the test, you will be assessed as having passed.
You can log in to the e-learning platform and see the list of courses
Send the correct spelling of your name to this email, requesting the change: elearn@aljazeera.net and we will ensure it appears correctly.
The content of the majority of our courses can be viewed free of charge. If you wish to be presented with a special certificate showing you have passed the course, a nominal fee will apply (the fees are specified with each course).
Note: Some courses are entirely free of charge (both the course content and the certificate).
You can download the certificate as a PDF file once you successfully pass the course (with minimum grade of 80%).
- To restore a previously granted certificate, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account
- Click on “My courses”
- Go to the relevant course
- Click on “Progress”
- “Request Certificate”
- Click on “Preview certificate”
- Save or print the certificate
- To pay for and receive your certificate after you complete a course, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account
- Click on “My courses”
- Go to the relevant course
- Click on “Progress”
- Click on “Get the Certificate”
- A payment page will appear
- Click on “Pay”
- Fill in your bank card information
- Verify the information before you proceed
- Click on “Pay”
- Save or print the certificate
